Cynthia grew up in an historic village in rural Virginia, surrounded by animals, gardens, and a large extended family—which provided her with a love of history, family, nature, and folklore. This upbringing fuels her optimistic, whimsical, and folk-art based style.

Kelsey Eng is an illustrator based in Burbank, California who is currently working at Dreamworks TV. She has worked in visual development and story for animation, commercials, games, and illustration. She is currently looking for picture book, middle grade, or cover illustration opportunities. Previous clients include: Wild Canary/Disney Jr., Dreamworks TV, Nickelodeon, Two Bit Circus, 1st Ave Machine, CloudKid, freelance work for television and movie pitches.

Jennifer Jackman White received her BFA from Art Center College of Design. After many years designing, including book covers for Disney, Harcourt, and Hyperion, Jennifer is now following her dreams and illustrating picture books. When Jennifer is not making art, she’s stargazing and cherishing time with her toddler.

Candace is a children’s author and illustrator. She creates magic with her words and her art. She lives in Utah with her husband, three children, and beautiful Borzoi, Atlas.

Jess Keating is an award-winning author, cartoonist, zoologist, and creative coach whose work has been featured in the New York Times, CBC, Buzzfeed, Parents Magazine, and more.

She is passionate about helping others claim their creative power, so they can build thriving, heart-centered, and joyful careers. She does this through books, videos, online classes, and speaking events.

Supriya is an award-winning author of children's books including AHIMSA (Tu Books, 2017), THE MANY COLORS OF HARPREET SINGH (Sterling, 2019),  AMERICAN AS PANEER PIE (Aladdin, 2020), and more. She works primarily in cut and torn-paper collage and digital collage, repurposing Indian wedding cards printed on handmade paper, fabrics, prints, and jewelry from India, magazines, and everyday objects like plants, pencils, and cardboard. Her debut illustrated picture book AMERICAN DESI by Jyoti Rajan Gopal will publish from Little Brown in 2023.

Stephanie Littlebird is an Indigenous artist, writer, and maker hailing from Portland, Oregon. Drawing connections between our collective past and imminent future, Fogel mixes her own tribal traditions with contemporary materials and subject matter.
